Clinton demands the FBI release 'full and complete facts' in email review

Hillary Clinton on Friday demanded that the FBI release the "full and complete facts" of its review of newly discovered emails related to her private server, calling it “imperative” that the bureau do so.

"We are 11 days out from perhaps the most important national election of our lifetimes. Voting is already underway in our country. So the American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately," Clinton told reporters during a brief news conference in Iowa.


She also addressed reports that the FBI's review is connected to a federal investigation of former Rep. Anthony Weiner's alleged lewd messages with a teenage girl.

"We've heard these rumors. We don't know what to believe," Clinton said. "That is why it is incumbent on the FBI to tell us what they are talking about. Because right now your guess is as good mine, and I don't think that is good enough."




Earlier Friday, FBI Director James Comey notified the chairs of several congressional committees that his agency was reviewing a fresh group of messages, re-injecting the email issue into the presidential campaign and setting off a political frenzy less than two weeks before Election Day.

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to this investigation," Comey wrote.

But Clinton dismissed the idea that the new review would affect her race against Republican nominee Donald Trump.

"I think people a long time ago made up their minds about the emails," she said. "I think that's factored into what people think and now they're choosing a president."

"I'm confident whatever they are will not change the [FBI] conclusion reached in July," Clinton said, referring to Comey's recommendation that the Department of Justice not pursue a criminal case against the former secretary of state or her aides.

"Therefore it is imperative that the bureau explain this issue in question, whatever it is, without any delay," Clinton said.

"Even Director Comey noted this new information may not be significant,” she said, "so let's get it out."

Ex-President Aquino: No info De Lima involved in drugs

Former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III on Friday said he never received any information linking his secretary of justice, now Senator Leila De Lima, to the illegal drug trade.
In an interview, Aquino told GMA News that he was hoping due process would bring out the whole truth as regards allegations that De Lima benefitted from drug money particularly those from drug lords inside the New Bilibid Prison.
"Noong panahon ko, ni chismis na may papasukan si Leila na ilegal, ni chismis wala," Aquino said.
"Ang bigat nitong paratang at ako'y umaasa na nandiyan ang proseso, na mapapalabas natin 'yung buong katotohanan, " he added.
Aquino said he already relayed his moral support to his Cabinet secretary through several text messages.
"May isang buwan at kalahati na yata last time kami nagkausap. Time to time baka may text, kinakamusta ko siya, sinasabi kong pinagdarasal ko sya," Aquino said.

 But when asked whether he would no longer cuss at frequent targets such as the United States, the European Union, or Senator Leila de Lima, Duterte replied: "There is always a time."

"Actually, kung kilala mo ako. magtanong ka sa mga kababata ko. Matagal kaming magkasama. Superman, I can read your mind, ika nga," he said.

"There is always a time. A time to be foul-mouthed. I don't like anybody reading my mind. It's all calibrated, it's always timing. Watch out for one thing, that's what I've learned, miscalculation," he added.
Duterte, during the press conference, did not curse once.

Gonzales aforesaid no gun was found within the initial 2 locations. unlicenced firearms, however, were found in Bagabaldo’s house within the subdivision, that “seemed to function his house.” Police recovered four guns and several other bullets.
“Some had expired licenses whereas others were ‘colorum,’ [meaning these have] no permits the least bit,” Gonzales aforesaid.
No contraband medicine were recovered from the homes, the police report aforesaid.
In a separate interview, politician Bagabaldo aforesaid Roberto might have had guns as a result of he's a retiredpolice officer.

DUTERTE ANSWERED ABOUT SEPARATION OF PHILIPPINES TO USA

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced his "separation" from the United States on Thursday, declaring he had realigned with China as the two agreed to resolve their South China Sea dispute through talks.

Duterte made his comments in Beijing, where he is visiting with at least 200 business people to pave the way for what he calls a new commercial alliance as relations with longtime ally Washington deteriorate.

"In this venue, your honors, in this venue, I announce my separation from the United States," Duterte told Chinese and Philippine business people, to applause, at a forum in the Great Hall of the People attended by Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli.

"Both in military, not maybe social, but economics also. America has lost."

Duterte's efforts to engage China, months after a tribunal in the Hague ruled that Beijing did not have historic rights to the South China Sea in a case brought by the previous administration in Manila, marks a reversal in foreign policy since the 71-year-old former mayor took office on June 30.

His trade secretary, Ramon Lopez, said $13.5 billion in deals would be signed during the China trip.

"I've realigned myself in your ideological flow and maybe I will also go to Russia to talk to (President Vladimir) Putin and tell him that there are three of us against the world - China, Philippines and Russia. It's the only way," Duterte told his Beijing audience.


Duterte's remarks will prompt fresh concern in the United States, where the Obama administration has seen Manila as an important ally in its "rebalance" of resources to Asia in the face of a rising China.

MANILA - Typhoon "Lawin" has gained new muscle, prompting state weather bureau PAGASA to raise tropical cyclone signal number 1 in four provinces Tuesday morning.

At 5 a.m., Lawin was packing top sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, and gusts of up to 230 kph, PAGASA meteorologist Meno Mendoza told radio DZMM.

The typhoon was last spotted 1,075 km East of Daet, Camarines Norte.

Cagayan, Isabela, Catanduanes and Northern Aurora have been placed under signal number 1. Winds of 30 to 60 kph will whip these areas in 36 hours.

Moderate to heavy rains were seen within the typhoon's 700-kilometer diameter, Mendoza said.

This means that Lawin may dump more than a foot of rain as it moves through northern Luzon, according to US broadcaster The Weather Channel.

Mendoza warned that Lawin may further intensify into a super typhoon with maximum wind speed exceeding 220 kph or more than 120 knots.

US broadcaster The Weather Channel said the typhoon may reach its peak strength on Tuesday, before flogging Luzon from late Wednesday to Thursday

Mendoza added that Lawin is likely to make landfall over Cagayan on Thursday morning, and then cross to Apayao and Ilocos Norte.

The typhoon may trigger storm surges, floods, and landslides. It will also be especially damaging to Luzon areas that were inundated by Typhoon Karen over the weekend, the Weather Channel said.

Mendoza said if Lawin continues moving west northwest at 24 kph, it may leave the Philippine area of responsibility by Friday morning and head to eastern China.

The great fish then struggles and within seconds gets out of it. By now, the people visibly starts to panic, because the diver was near by and the obviously dangerous fish was also lurking in the same premises of the water.

So it was nothing short of a miracle when they saw the man wading his way out of the waters, within seconds of the shark escaping the cage. The video was uploaded on the popular YouTube channel Gabe and Garrett, that generally shows two children and their adorable little adventures. A far cry from their usual videos, this was taken by Gabe and Garrett’s father and comes with a disclaimer that this is not the usual kids content.
